working with leaders

The impact of vibrant churches on their communities can be extraordinary.  As a church leader you can look with both satisfaction and amazement at the good you are able to deliver with limited resources through your congregation in your local area.  But there are always obstacles to the church’s work being as effective as it could be, including isolation of leaders, difficult team dynamics and lack of resources – time, people and finances.

Church leaders who have worked with us have consistently reflected on the positive impact that coaching and team building have had on their ministries.

Our coaching and team building services provide the focused support that people in churches often miss out on.  Church leaders have particularly valued our work in providing them with confidential and agenda-free conversations enabling them to explore issues they would find it difficult to articulate elsewhere.

With us, they know they are sharing with trusted professionals who also have church leadership experience and a faith-based approach to their work. 4Spaces brings an understanding of the unique pressures faced by Church leaders and staff teams and have a variety of tools to help solve problems and to strategize.

I knew I needed to make changes to the way I worked so I could use my time and energies more effectively, and Diane through gentle questions, helped me to find my own solutions. For me, it was good to be able to talk aloud about the things which seemed obvious but were causing me a bit of stress. Things like diary management, how I use my desk space, taking time for myself seem small things but have made a big difference. Rachel Hirst, Rural Dean, Church of England.

Barbara's team building days always provide insight and awareness that have benefited our team hugely. She is sensitive, skilled and enthusiastic and has genuinely improved our team dynamics.”
